Discovering + Understanding My Neurodivergent Self for Empowerment

(Ages 4-12yrs)

A personalised, neuroaffirming therapy pathway supporting your child to understand who they are and confidently embrace their neurodivergent identity.

As a parent, you want your neurodivergent child to feel seen, supported, and celebrated — not just to “cope,” but to thrive as their authentic self. You might be noticing your child struggle with emotional regulation, sensory sensitivities, friendships, or simply trying to understand their diagnosis. You want to help them build self-worth, feel proud of who they are, and navigate the world with confidence — but you're not sure where to start.

That’s exactly what this pathway is designed for.

Through a creative, fun, and deeply personalised approach, Nourish + Soul works 1:1 or in small groups with neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, Highly sensitive and anxious) children to help them:

  1. 🧠 Understand their brain and body in a positive, neuroaffirming way

  2. 💛 Build self-awareness and self-worth by exploring their unique traits and strengths

  3. 🌈 Learn emotional regulation and sensory strategies tailored to their individual nervous system

  4. 🗣️ Explore and embrace different communication styles — supporting your child to understand how they naturally communicate, honouring that style, and helping them feel confident to explain and advocate for it with others

  5. 👥 Navigate friendships and connection through a neurodivergent lens

  6. 🛠️ Create personal toolboxes of supports and strategies that truly work for them

  7. 🧩 Build meaningful skills in areas identified with the child, family, OT, educators, and other supports — always guided by the child’s goals, needs, and values

  8. 📣 Develop self-advocacy skills including understanding and expressing personal boundaries, and learning how to communicate their needs in ways that feel empowering and safe

At Nourish + Soul, we don’t believe in changing who your child is — we believe in helping them understand themselves, feel safe in their body, and confidently live life as their beautifully neurodivergent self.

This journey is joyful, strengths-based, and completely unique to your child.

Supporting You to Support Them

A neuroaffirming program for parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children

Raising a neurodivergent child brings joy, but also real challenges. You may be navigating big emotions, tricky systems, or feeling unsure how to communicate your child’s needs to others. You want to support your child in the best way possible — and you don’t have to do it alone.

This program is here to walk alongside you with compassion, evidence-informed tools, and practical strategies that help you build trust, connection, and confidence in supporting your child’s unique needs. Tailored to your family’s priorities, we’ll work together to decide which aspects to focus on and in what order.

💛 In this program, you'll be supported to:

• 🌼 Navigate new diagnoses — understand the next steps, connect with the right professionals, and navigate the emotional challenges
• 🧠 Understand your child’s neurodivergence — including sensory processing, communication styles, emotional regulation, and more through a strengths-based, neuroaffirming lens
• 💬 Communicate your child’s needs to others — create “All About Me” pages and learn to advocate for your child’s needs with family, school, and activity providers
• 🧘‍♀️ Honor your nervous system and your child’s — create space for emotional safety, self-care, and co-regulation to foster a grounded, connected environment
• 🌡️ Shape your home environment — adjust routines and relationships to support your child’s regulation and honor your family’s unique dynamics
• 🏫 Support at school — confidently collaborate with educators, address challenges, and ensure your child has the right supports in place to thrive academically and socially
• 📝 NDIS support — navigate the NDIS application and processes, and learn how to access the services and funding your child needs
• 🌟 Support interdependence and connection — empower your child to trust themselves and safe relationships, while respecting their need for support
• 🌱 Build meaningful connection — foster moments of trust and reflection with your child, while also nurturing your own parenting journey
• 👨‍👩‍👧 Work as a united parenting team — create consistency and understanding across caregivers to provide a safe, supportive environment
• 🌻 Cultivate community — feel surrounded by people who truly understand and support you and your child

This program isn’t about doing more; it’s about feeling more connected, more resourced, and more in tune — with your child, with yourself, and with your family’s unique rhythm.

Whether you’re new to this path, navigating a new diagnosis, or experiencing burnout, Supporting You to Support Them helps you build trust, strengthen relationships, and create an environment where everyone can breathe easier.
